On May 11, 2002, four people were shot at the Citizen’s Club in the City of Vineland while attending a party. The victim, Tony Brown, sustained a single gunshot wound to the head and died as a result of his injuries.  During the course of the investigation, a suspect was identified, however, the suspect was later shot and killed in an unrelated incident within the City of Bridgeton.  Brown’s death has been ruled a Homicide.


The above contains information regarding an open homicide investigation (commonly referred to as a “Cold Case” homicide) being conducted by law enforcement within Cumberland County, NJ. There may or may not be suspects developed in this particular case.
